Application:

The main application of PC8 is as a catalyst for rigid polyurethane foam plastics, and it has a wide range of uses. In addition, it can also be used as a stabilizer for fuel oil to prevent the formation of oil during frying and is a stabilizing additive for petroleum fractions at 150-480℃. It is used as raw materials for medicine and pesticides, and serves as a fungicide, disinfectant, leveling agent and antistatic agent, etc.

 PC8 is a low viscosity medium active amine catalysts, rigid used in refrigerator, plank, spraying, the perfusion polyurethane hard foam at the scene. This catalyst has catalytic effects on both gelation and foaming, providing a relatively balanced catalytic performance for the foaming and gelation reactions of rigid foam. It has a stronger catalytic effect on the reaction between water and isocyanate (foaming reaction), and also has moderate catalytic properties for the reaction between polyols and isocyanate. It is a strong initial catalyst for foaming reactions. In addition to being used for rigid foam, it can also serve as an auxiliary catalyst for molding soft foam and semi-rigid foam, etc. 

PC8 catalyst can be used as a separate, but usually with other catalysts. Depending on the reaction rate and the physical properties of the foam, the dosage of polyether polyol PC8 per 100 parts ranges from 0.5 to 3.5 parts.
