Product Overview


It features a tertiary amine structure with purity ≥97% and flash point 98°C . Key properties include low odor emission (≤2 ppm), fast curing (gel time 5–10 seconds), and compatibility with water-blown systems. This catalyst is compliant with REACH Annex XVII and contains no heavy metals .

Catalytic Efficiency

Accelerates isocyanate-polyol reaction rates with activation energy reduction ≥30% compared to conventional amines. Supports gel times 5–15 seconds and demold times 30–60 seconds .


Formulation Flexibility

Available in neat grades and solutions (10–50% in dipropylene glycol) for easy dispersion. Suitable for rigid foam, flexible foam, and elastomer applications .


Environmental Compliance

Compliant with FDA 21 CFR 175.105 for food-contact adhesives and UL GREENGUARD Gold for low VOC emissions (≤5 ppm) . Free from halogens and APEOs.


Stability and Handling

Resists crystallization at 5°C and oxidation during storage (≥12 months shelf life). Soluble in alcohols, ethers, and ketones .


Applications


Rigid Polyurethane Foam

Insulation Panels: Promotes uniform cell nucleation with cell size distribution 0.1–0.3 mm, reducing thermal conductivity by 10% .

Refrigeration Systems: Accelerates cold-curing processes at 10–20°C with gel times 8–12 seconds .


Flexible Polyurethane Foam

Mattresses: Controls viscoelastic properties with ILD (25% deflection) 20–40 N and compression set ≤15% .

Automotive Seats: Enhances dynamic fatigue resistance (≥10⁶ cycles) and tear strength (≥8 N/mm) .


Elastomers and Coatings

Industrial Coatings: Reduces cure times by 50% in two-component polyurethane systems at ambient temperatures .

Sealants: Improves adhesion to concrete and metal substrates with peel strength ≥4 N/cm .


Storage


Container: Store in sealed HDPE or glass bottles to prevent oxidation.

Conditions: Maintain temperatures at 5–30°C and humidity ≤60%, away from strong acids and isocyanates.

Handling: Use gloves and safety glasses to avoid skin and eye contact.
